A charitable foundation in New York City hosted an all day Summit/Conference on board the U.S.S. Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The summit brought together 450 leaders from the military, veterans groups, non-profit organizations, local, state and federal governments, and the media. The Veterans Initiative is to help veterans living in poverty in New York City and to support the returning war veterans in jobs, housing, health care and education. The general session was held inside the Intrepid Museum with expansive set design and seating and the luncheon on the ship’s pier under a custom tent structure with flooring, air-conditioning, décor and all related technical services.
